''Our lineage comes from David DuFour that immigrated from Mons, Belgium to New-York in 1657. Most of this information is available on http://www.Ancestory.com or http://www.familysearch.com

• David DuFour was born at Mons in Belgium in 1625, he died at Turtle Bay, New-York in 1699. He got married to Marie Boulen, they had a son, Jean in 1655 at Sedan, France. Marie died in 1656.

• David remarried Janette Frances on July 10, 1657. David took his new wife as well as her baby, Jean (born from his first wife) to Manhattan, NY in 1657.

• Jean married Janette Van Esselteyn in 1676, he changed the way to write his name to probably look like a Dutch name: Dufoor-Dufour. Their son Abraham Dufoor-Dufour was born in 1701 at Bloomingdale, NY. Jean died in 1720. Abraham died in 1780 at Poughkeepsie, NY,

• Their son Abraham married Gerrif Vandewerken. They had a son, Abraham Jr. Dufoor May 11, 1722. He died in 1748 MA.

•  Abraham Jr married Hepsibah? He changed the way to write his name: Dufur. Their son, David Dufur, was born December 11, 1748, at Lancaster, MA. He married Ruth McGregory November 16, 1769 at Marlboro, NH. In 1781 they had a son Calvin Dufur at Marlboro, NH. Abraham Jr. died in 1830 at NY.

• Calvin married Rhoda? in 1799. They had a son William Dufur in 1808 NH. Calvin Dufur died in 1870.

•  William Dufur married Phebe? They had a son James Hollister Dufur April 17, 1833 at Burdette, NY. William died June 20, 1915 at Cedarville, AR.

•  James Hollister Dufur (photo below) married Leanor Lancaster November 12, 1865 at Menard Co., IL. Their son John Henry Dufur was born August 21, 1868 at Sebastian, AR.

• John Henry Dufur married Louella Vira Shuler August 17, 1890 at Lampassas, TX. They had a son, Odie Dufur August 11, 1899 at Lampassas, TX. John Henry Dufur died March 1, 1944 at Floydata, TX.

• Odie Dufur married Dora Thomas Brady February 24, 1934 at Clovis, NM. They had a son, Clarence Dale Dufur May 17, 1946 at Delano, CA. Odie died April 24 1982, Bakersfield, CA.

• Clarence Dale Dufur married Patricia Gasper Burruss January 17, 1970."
